Fifty years is a long time to be passionate about any one thing. To have that kind of zeal and to have it keep building is an incredible trait, but our Tony has it in spades. In 1972, he started his career as an apprentice luthier at a small music shop in San Diego, California. Today he holds a patent on an innovative guitar body design that is rocking the socks off just about everyone who has picked up a Jasper guitar. There’s no stopping him as he continues to create new models that truly are cutting edge.
On the evening of October 12, 2022, Tony was given a big surprise at that evening’s Jasper Guitar Company Shop Gig that featured Ike Arumba and the Infidels. To commemorate this special occasion, a series of videos was created called Tony Louscher: 50 Years In The Making. Seven of these videos are short vignettes narrated by Tony telling about the highlights of the past half century. A special eighth video contained messages of thanks and congratulations from his family, friends, loyal customers, and those highly influential in his career capped off the set and was premiered at the Shop Gig. We invite you to see these videos now and find out what drives the passion of Tony Louscher.
